Above you see the food and goods donated to Harvesters by our community at 2011's God Auction. The total weight was recorded as 1,033 pounds! That's enough to provide 795 meals!

Gaia Community have consensed to invest our New Home Fund into Ubuntu Village, a project inspired by and associated with Emerald City KC, a grassroots project aimed at revitalizing the Troost Avenue corridor of Kansas City, MO.
Ubuntu Village is divided into two buildings. 4329 Troost is a former daycare that will soon be an operating daycare once again. 4327 Troost, where Gaia will be moving, is a building formerly housing several beauty shops that will be rehabilitated into a shared community center.
Here is a list of Sunday service titles for as far out as they are planned. Currently, the Ritual Teams plan rituals four times a year. Our calendar will be the best place to read information about these rituals, which is usually available a few weeks before its date.

The Social Justice League of Justice is currently holding a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood. It will run each Sunday through the end of May.

The 2012 Penny Auction (leading up to our God Auction fundraiser) is over! The community raised $500 in total over the course of the Penny Auction, and our top four finishers were Nehalennia, Lugh, Hephaestus, and the North American Beaver. Now, those four will compete in the God Auction on July 15!
We will explore the ritual, magical, healing, and other uses of herbs. Scent warning: there will be herbs present!
Games Night is a chance for Gaians of all ages to get together for fun, frivolity, and food, and NO OFFICIAL BUSINESS allowed! (We're not kidding - the Games Guru has spoken on this). Bring a game (or ten), bring a friend (or ten), or just bring yourself and a willingness to play and visit.
Snacks are welcomed but not required, to help the gaming crowds keep up their strength! Games Night is usually held in the Barn Chapel.
The KidSpace Committee meets on the third Sunday of each month at SMUUCH, to discuss curricula, scheduling, and other issues related to our Children's Religious Education Program. Anyone is welcome; you do not have to be a parent or even a member to be a part of this committee!
Athena won the patronage of Athens in part due to her gift of the olive tree; in time the olive branch came to signify a lasting peace. As patron of Gaia Community she has challenged us in several ways; come and challenge yourself to increase justice and peace both within yourself and your world.
Weather permitting, this ritual will be held outdoors so make sure you dress appropriately and bring sunscreen or bug spray if you need it. In addition, this ritual will include the opportunity to make offerings in the Greek (ADF) style to Athena or other powers. Congregants are encouraged to bring their personal journals and/or divination tools if desired.
