Workshop: Breath Work

Join Matt for a workshop about breathing where we will discuss how enhancing your control of the breath will make both participating in and leading magic and ritual more fulfilling! Wear comfortable clothes and bring a pad to lie on the floor for portions of the work if you would like to. All exercises are equally possible standing or sitting in a chair. We’ll be talking about and working with the core muscle groups and functions of breathing, practicing a couple of exercises for steady breath control, working with the basics of Pranayama (life-force regulating breath), and addressing the basics of vocal resonators and how to let them work with your breath for both vocal effects and overall volume in your speaking and chanting.
