DESCRIPTION:As we enter into the new year\, many of us seek to be rid of old patterns\, old habits\, old ways of thinking. Join us as we work to break the power these problems hold over us\, reach towards a state of balance\, and reclaim our energy. This ritual could get messy — closed-toe shoes and easily washable clothing recommended. \nIf you want to bring a small bowl or vessel (fist sized or so) that is ceramic or glass and you will not be taking home\, that may help you connect with the power of our ritual\, but we will have a ready supply. \nFor those joining remotely\, you may want to represent this more safely with paper\, cardboard\, or materials that will not be a safety hazard later. An origami ‘box’ would work if that is in your skill set (such as described at https://origami.me/box/ ). You may also want to have red paper\, or a red pen/marker or fast-drying paint\, but that is completely optional. \nWhen we destroy these items\, you may want to use one of these historically attested phrases\, or write one of your own. We will be sharing this phrase\, not what you write/destroy itself. You may of course decline to speak out loud! \n\nI tread it under my heels.
