Workshop: Iynx Wheel

The iynx wheel, sometimes called a strophalos or whirligig, has millenia of history as a child’s toy, a sorcerer’s magical tool, and as the original witches’ “jinx”. Join us in making your own and learning about how this simple spinning disc can be used in ritual and magical practice.  If you are attending in person, all materials will be provided, but if you have a particular image you’d like to draw or paint you might wish to bring a reference image.  If you are attending online, you will need a round wooden or cardboard disk with holes drilled like in the linked example, some sturdy string, and paint or markers to decorate the disc.
