Workshop: Election Magic
Join us on Sunday November 2nd as we create a poppet, a three-dimensional symbol representing our hopes for the future of our democracy, beginning with the upcoming elections on November 4th. We invite you to bring small items of magical import that you would like to contribute, representing your fondest dreams for the well-being of our nation. (We will supply some small charms, beads, etc. as well.) This could include herbs, minerals, natural objects, tokens or symbols of what you wish for the United States and our fellow citizens. We will assemble these items with our intentions and charge the result with the energy of our hope. People joining online may want to prepare a smaller poppet with your own items, and/or contribute to the communal one by sending wishes in words that we will write down and add to the assemblage.
