Ritual: Heathen Sumbel (and Member Sunday Pledge Kickoff)

We shall kick off Pledge Sunday with a popular practice in heathenry, a Sumbel. Join us in frith (peace – learn what else it implies at the ritual!) for honoring the Gods, the ancestors, and toasts or boasts (a song or poem) about a personal hero.
Pledge Sunday is the annual reaffirming of each of our connections to the UUA by filling out a pledge card for the coming year and a financial commitment to the community. We appreciate your support! Monetary pledges are not required to attend Gaia Community services.
